DC Boathouse Restaurant

After walking in, cozy and friendly. Husband ordered calamari, we get calamari everywhere we go. This one was like any other chewy and had ok sides of sauce. Some thousand island looking one and "marinara". I ordered Greek salad. The field mix/spinach was great to see as a base but for the size of the salad more dressing would've been nice. 3 medium slices of cucumber and large chunks of feta. Would've liked a crumbled mixed salad instead of chunks of stuff everywhere. Crab cake Reuben was pretty good. Bottom line. Decent with flaws like any other place.

My disappointment was in the beer, staff was great. They had a decent craft pilsner as their special draft option, but their regular beer menu is exclusively the big corporate stuff you'd expect at a down market airport. They need to do much better to meet the DC standard.
